Certification Mark and Seal
The mark is a statement that an organisation has been independently assessed and holds a current certificate. It carries the standard, the certificate reference, and the accreditation behind it — everything a third party needs to check the claim rather than take it on faith.
We have issued more than two million inspection, product, system, and personnel certificates since 2006.
Reading the mark
The enclosing form holds the certified organisation's scope together with the standard it was assessed against. The Itmad name at the centre identifies who performed the assessment — because a mark that does not name its certifier tells you nothing.
Every mark corresponds to a certificate record that can be checked against our register.
Who may display it
Only organisations holding a current Itmad certificate, and only within the scope that certificate covers. The mark may be used on websites, letterheads, brochures, and vehicles. It may not be applied to a product, its packaging, or anything that implies the product itself is certified when the certification covers a management system.
Use ends when the certificate does — on expiry, suspension, or withdrawal.
Checking a mark
If you have been shown an Itmad mark and want to confirm it is genuine and current, look up the certificate reference in our register. If a supplier cannot give you a reference, that is worth knowing in itself.
