ITMAD calibrates and repairs measuring and process-control instruments for industrial, energy, healthcare and aviation clients across the UAE. Calibration is carried out either on site at your facility or in the laboratory, depending on the instrument and the downtime you can accept.

Temperature Measurement Devices

Instruments are compared against calibrated reference thermometers and dry-block or bath sources at multiple points across the working range, so error is known where you actually use the instrument rather than at a single point. Chambers, cold rooms and transport units are surveyed with multiple sensors to show distribution, not just a spot reading.

Electrical Test Equipment

Pressure Instruments

Checked against a dead-weight tester or reference pressure calibrator on both rising and falling pressure, which exposes hysteresis and sticking that a single-direction check misses. Transmitters are verified across the full output span.

Gas Detection Instruments

A bump test confirms the sensor and alarm respond; a full calibration adjusts the span response against certified gas of known concentration. We record response time and verify alarm setpoints.

Environmental, Force and Mass Instruments

Balances are checked with certified reference weights for repeatability, eccentricity and linearity across the weighing range, not at one load. Torque wrenches are verified against a calibrated torque transducer in the direction of use.

What you receive

• A calibration certificate identifying the instrument, its serial number and the reference standards used
• As-found and as-left readings, so you can see whether the instrument had drifted before adjustment
• Measurement uncertainty stated where applicable
• Pass or fail against your stated tolerance, with immediate notification if an instrument is found out of tolerance
• A calibration label on the instrument showing the calibration and due dates
• Your instrument register updated, where we hold it

Accreditation and traceability

Every calibration is issued with a certificate stating the reference standards used, the measured values, and the measurement uncertainty where applicable. Reference standards are traceable to national and international standards. Where an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate is required, the work is performed through our accredited partner laboratory and the certificate is issued under that laboratory's accreditation. Tell us at enquiry stage whether you need an accredited certificate, as it affects turnaround and cost.

Recalibration intervals

Interval depends on the instrument, its use and your quality system. Annual recalibration is common for general workshop instruments; gas detectors and safety-critical instruments are usually verified far more frequently. We can hold your instrument register and notify you before each due date.

Repairs

Instruments found out of tolerance can be repaired or adjusted and recalibrated in the same visit where parts allow, covering general and process-control equipment.
